  In this version of Pandabase, Workspaces replace stores as the main containers for your business. Each Workspace is isolated and can have several stores attached to it. Your existing stores continue to work as usual.

    Sign up at [merchant.pandabase.io](https://merchant.pandabase.io/auth/signup) with your email address. We'll send you a magic link to verify your account.

    ### Complete your profile [#complete-your-profile]

    Open the magic link and enter your username, first and last name, phone number, and country. Review and accept the legal policies to continue.

    ### Create your Workspace [#create-your-workspace]

    Enter your Workspace name, URL, statement descriptor, support email, and country of operation. Choose a category and describe your business and what you sell. Your storefront goes live when you submit the form.

    Submit your ID and verify your phone number with two-factor authentication (2FA). You can start accepting payments before verification, but you need to complete it before we release payouts.

      We use Sumsub to verify your identity before sending payouts. Sumsub processes your ID; Pandabase doesn't store it.

    Open the questionnaire from the banner at the top of your dashboard and answer the questions about your business.

    Share your storefront link or connect the [Checkout API](/developers/learn/hosted-checkout). The API guide is in the current documentation.

    With Merchant of record, Pandabase handles tax, disputes, and payouts. With Pandabase Direct, you remain the legal seller and keep responsibility for tax, disputes, and fraud liability.
