# Fees (/v2/direct/fees) Pandabase v2 is still in development, and we're still writing these docs. Some content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent between pages. Pandabase Direct costs **3.9% + 29¢** per successful transaction, plus **Interchange++** fees from our payment processing partner, passed through at cost. These rates apply to software and digital products. ## What Interchange++ means [#what-interchange-means] Interchange++ separates card processing costs into three parts: | Part | What it pays for | | ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------------- | | Interchange | The card issuer's fee. | | Card network fee | The card network's fee. | | Acquirer fee | The processing partner's fee for accepting the payment. | These costs are added to the Pandabase fee. They aren't a single fixed rate for every payment. [Adyen's explanation of Interchange++](https://help.adyen.com/knowledge/payment-methods/explore-payment-methods/what-is-the-interchange) describes this pricing model; it doesn't set the rates for your Pandabase account. ## Example payment [#example-payment] A buyer pays **$50.00**. This calculation excludes tax, payout fees, and any other charges that apply to the payment. ## Other fees [#other-fees] Billing, disputes, standalone 3DS, and payouts can have separate charges.
